Holland is often thought of as just another name for the
Netherlands, whereas in fact it is just one of the Dutch provinces, albeit the
best known. Holland is further split into two, Zuid (South) Holland and Noord
(North) Holland. Taking these two provinces together we find the major cities of
Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague and Utrecht. These closely concentrated urban
