Since the launch of our web site in January 1999 we have arranged over 17,500
holidays. Below are just some of the testimonials we have received by email or
in response to our Holiday Satisfaction questionnaire, prior to the launch of
out new website.
We launched our new website in September 2007. We no longer arrange your
holiday for you. When we started, back in the internet dark ages, few travel
companies were able to offer online booking. Now, of course, everyone does.
And, following in the footsteps of the low-cost airlines, ferry companies and
hotels all offer fluid pricing, so the very best prices can now be found by
booking direct. We find we can no longer compete with these prices, so we have
developed our website as a portal for driving holidays in Europe.
You will find links to all the major ferry companies, Eurotunnel and Eurostar
booking facilities. We have partnered with Active Hotels to offer you one of the
best selection of hotels in Europe, all available instantly online, as well as
continuing to offer thousands of holiday homes, apartments and cottages through
our partner Interhome.
So please take advantage of the Drive-Alive website to book everything for
your driving holiday in Europe. Your bookings will be with the respective
providers of transport, accommodation, car hire, etc, not with Drive-Alive.

Hotel del Oso, (Potes in northern Spain) is one of the best hotels I have ever
visited, friendly, professional, welcoming, good food, housekeeping par

Lovely Chateau (Chteau du Landel, Bzancourt, near Rouen) - owner was very
pleasant and patient with our not so brilliant French . Facilities overall at
Chateau were better than described. Very good quality tennis court. Ambience was

This is the second time we have used drive-alive and we are very pleased with
the service. The Hotel Prinsenhof, in Brugge was delightful. All the staff were
so friendly and helpful and the hotel itself was absolutely charming and very
