Although situated in a valley, take the Olympic 3 stage, 20Brides-les-Bains, slopes above the village minute cable car to Meribel and the vast Trois Vallees ski region. So you can have the best of both worlds, staying in a genuine village whilst enjoying access to some of the best skiing in Europe.
