Since the ferry from Newcastle to Esbjerg in Denmark was withdrawn by DFDS there is no direct ferry connection to Scandinavia. Now you must catch a ferry to either Holland, Belgium or France and drive through Denmark to Copenhagen then take the ferry to Oslo. If you want to drive all the way then cross the Oresund Bridge between Denmark and Sweden.
